ABOUT US

Meridian Spine & Joint Physiotherapy Centre is a physiotherapist owned clinic that has built its reputation on the quality of care that it provides. We have been serving London and the surrounding area for over 20 years.  We are well respected by local physicians and boast a high clinical effectiveness rate. 

What really makes us unique is that we only employ registered physiotherapists, massage therapists, and kinesiologists who always work one-on-one with all patients to achieve the highest level of pain free functioning.

We are dedicated to meeting the needs of our patients.  With our flexible hours we can accommodate early morning and evening appointments.   We also promise no waiting lists, with initial assessments booked within one week's time.

We pride ourselves on measurable outcomes. Our services are very cost conscious and our treatment programs last only as long as necessary.
 

OUR MISSION

At Meridian Spine & Joint Physiotherapy Centre we exist to serve people with neuro-musculoskeletal injuries and conditions to ensure that they are comfortable, active, mobile, and functional within a healthy state of well-being.

Specifically we exist to:

  • Facilitate maximum recovery for people with back, neck, and extremity orthopaedic injuries and condition
  • Ensure people who have suffered an accident have relief of symptoms quickly and achieve return to full mobility and function.
  • Assist with working people who have suffered an injury to be productive at work with speedy maximum recovery.
  • Keep serious and casual athletes healthy and performing to their best ability in their sport.

As a key link in the health care system, we strive to support patients, their families, health care providers, employers, and insurers in achieving holistic rehabilitation at a reasonable cost.

OUR VISION

To be the organization of choice for people seeking primary and specialty orthopaedic preventative and rehabilitation services in the community.  We will do this by providing patient focused health services where our interdisciplinary team will excel in satisfying patient service expectations and clinical needs.  This will occur in an environment where staff promote quality through a continuous quest for learning and innovation.  We will build relationships with dedicated referral sources allowing us to maximize use of our capacity and achieve profitability for the Centre and its associates.

  • Providing state-of-the-art technology for clinic administration, clinical equipment and clinician and client education.
  • Utilizing dynamic, active forms of therapy to promote health and recovery (versus passive forms of therapy) including dynamic hands-on mobilization and manipulation and active exercise programs.
  • Providing a very high ratio of physiotherapist to patient time spent.
  • Providing care and programs in group-settings, only where appropriate, to encourage team learning and support.
  • Practicing time-limited therapy tailored to the client need to encourage full independence.
  • Providing programs and treatment in a fun and supportive environment where people and staff can flourish.
