Aural Rehabilitation

Aural Rehabilitation is offered once per month at both London Locations. This complementary service, offered to our clients, is our way of introducing you to the quality of care you can expect from Meridian Hearing Centre and our certified audiologists.  

Each session is designed to help you learn how to use your new hearing aid more effectively.  Specifically, aural rehabilitation will focus on:

1. Hearing Aids
   • different styles and types
   • benefits and limitations
   • care and maintenance
   • expectation of your hearing aid
2. How to Use Your Hearing Aid (while...)
   • having a one-on-one conversation
   • on the telephone
   • watching television
   • going to the theatre
   • participating in a a meeting or at a party
3. What To Do If You Are Having Trouble Communicating Even With Your Hearing Aid(s)

Each session is followed by a question and answer period as well as the opportunity to have our certified audiologist clean and adjust your hearing aid settings.
